I would've bought Deus Ex too if they actually sold it here in Finland. 'You think this is the real Quaid? It is.' Stick with it man.the first act is by far the worst anyway. It would be rediculous if after you'd cleared an area once, it simply became a dead wasteland. Pretty much the second you leave that place more demon doods are gonna refill it. Now, (having killed everything) if you went back to that area a couple of days later, would you expect to find everything as it was? Dead bodies everywhere and no reiforcements present? If an evil plague has descended over a land, it is only right that you should go out and kill all of the enemies in a certain area, right? And the waypints are there to stop you getting too annoyed. It gives you time to review what you're doing when you start to play again.
The character spawning at the nearest town is not a bad idea at all if you ask me. 'In Diablo 2, it isn't necessary to explicitly save your game, as your character is automatically saved periodically, and when you exit the game.'Įverytime you move to a new area (which is very frequent), complete a quest etc, the game saves.
